Make no mistake; our digital artists are just as talented as traditional artists, if not more. There are some people, primarily traditional artists, who don’t view digital works as true artistry. We’re not sure if they feel threatened in that we are taking the limelight away from them or what. But Pics2Print challenges anyone in that debate – On what grounds does a traditional artist who uses oil paint medium any more or less talented that a digital artist who use ink? The only difference, truly, is that the processment of the digital artwork. Digital artwork is considered relatively new in the thousand years history of art. However, digital artists use an assortment of tools at there fingertips, just as a painter has his brush tools, a woodworker has a lathe, and a potter has a spinner. Through technology, our digital artists utilize all types of virtual tools: palette of over 16 million colors, variety of canvas and other media, the ability to correct mistakes, pencils, airbrush spray, brushes, 3D effect tools, and many more. Pics2Print artists NEVER just press a button to apply a filter to get an effect; our artists also use a Wacom tablet, which is a specialized tablet and stylus that create brush strokes done by hand. Each piece is done by our artists’ hands and they are just in the same rich tradition as Picasso, Matisse or Rembrandt. Do not think for a minute that the digital artist is any less of a traditional artist. Your finished piece is truly considered a one-of-a-kind, original work of art.
